Costa Rica Mission Trips
In 2006 Faith Lutheran established a partnership with the Lutheran Church of Costa Rica (ILCO)
Annual immersion trips provide an opportunity to see ministry in the Costa Rican context, work alongside our Costa Rican brothers and sisters accompanying them in ministry, and reflect on how our daily living is intertwined with that of people around the globe.
We emphasize the purpose of an immersion trip – it is an event to move us, a place to start practicing our faith in ways that will have long-term effectiveness (living in daily mission.)
We also celebrate and lift up building projects that are done along with ILCO because we are blessed to be a blessing
Faith Lutheran provides financial support for Stephen Deal, ELCA Regional Director for Latin America through ELCA Division of Global Missions.

Fair Trade
Offers for sale each month fairly traded coffee and chocolate products in partnership with Lutheran World Relief Coffee Project
Also sponsors a Christmas Gifts of Hope project where gift-givers can purchase alternative gifts that benefit a partner ministry of Faith Lutheran Church

St. Paul’s Partnership
We began a partnership with St Paul Lutheran Church, 2742 15th Ave S, Minneapolis in 2008
We offer several opportunities each year to participate in events happening in this diverse congregation and community
This partnership provide opportunities for families and others who can’t travel to have an immersion experience with a community in our own metro area
