Dear
Friend of Faith Lutheran,
This Sunday in worship we read and hear the word
from Phillipians 3:17-4:1 and again from Luke 4:1-13 where Jesus is
led out into the wilderness. Through his responses to the
temptations of the devil he defines what it means to be called
"the Son of God." Pastor David will be preaching.

Institute of Arts Field Trip On Saturday, March 6, Faith has a
field trip scheduled to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
The hour-long tour starts at 11 AM. On the "Arts and
Artifacts of the Biblical World", we will examine and discuss
Mediterranean objects from ancient Rome and Greece. We will
view paintings and sculptures and how artists have visualized
Biblical events and figures. The tour leader will be MIA
docent JeanMarie Burtness, member of Faith Lutheran. After
the tour, participants are free to roam the rest of the museum or
have lunch at the museum cafeteria run by D'Amico and Sons. For
additional information and directions to the museum, go to www.artsmia.org. You can sign
up in the Church Office, or by emailing membership@faithlutherancr.org.
If you are
willing to drive and take several people with you, please indicate
how many people you can take as you sign up. If you would
like to attend, but need a ride, please sign up and leave your
