August 26, 2010  Fall 2010 at Faith Lutheran   Do you often feel that you and your schedule are being pulled in different directions? Does life feel a rat race? Or do you feel lost without any direction at all?   This fall, we are going on a journey together to get real.  Together we will take an inventory of our lives so that we can get ready to hear God's call.  God's call is to True Life, but why does True Life seem so far away, so "for everyone but me"sometimes?  As we explore what God is calling us to turn from, we ready ourselves to be turned toward the one who is True Life - Jesus Christ.   On September 12th, Rally Day, we kick off a fall series on how we can navigate true life by connecting to the one who knows us fully...God!   We invite you to worship as our focus for fall will be introduced:      The Faith Compass - - Navigating True Life.     Also be sure to take in the Ministry Sampler in the Gym. Fall Registration Information Educational opportunities soon begin for all ages!  We invite you to register now as we plan for classrooms and space.   Faith Kids Church School starts Sunday, September 19: Registration forms are available in the church office or online.   All registered Confirmation Families will receive a letter the first week of September with your Session assignment and Small Group Leader's name and room number.  Help us complete the small group assignments by turning in your completed registration forms ASAP. Media/Technology Volunteers Do you have an interest in computers? Music? Video? Sound?    Volunteers are needed in several areas for Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. If this may be an interest of yours or you are open to being trained - please contact Pastor Kevin at (763) 354-7807 or email.   Small Group Ministry - Real Life Together  Have you been yearning for a place to talk about real life in real ways?  Do you get sick of conversation that only complains about what's on the news, and instead desire to look for ways you see God at work in the world?  Joining a small group is a great next step in your faith journey.  Groups consist of 5-6 couples or 8-10 individuals.  Groups will be available for couples, men, or women, in a variety of life stages and circumstances.  More information will be available on our website after September 10, or contact pastorkiri@faithlutherancr.org now if you think a small group is something you might be interested in.  Plan to attend the Group Launch Event on Monday, Ocober 4, 6:30 - 8:00pm.  You'll have a chance to learn what a group is and connect with others for your first group experience!
