Middle School Youth Ministry
Middle School Ministry incorporates many different experiences for students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. We have Confirmation Ministry, Fun and Fellowship Events, Service Events, Music Ministry.
Confirmation Ministry Our Confirmation Program meets on Wednesday nights on a regular basis throughout the school year. This program is where students form intentional relationships with a Small Group Leader and a specific group of students in the same grade as theirs. This is a trusted group of students where they have a chance to ask those important faith questions. Confirmation includes Small Group Time, Sacred Space Worship, Fellowship Nights, Large Group Nights, and hang out time with fellow Confirmation Students. Once students become 9th graders, they have the opportunity to affirm their faith in late October at our Affirmation of Baptism
Fun Events and Fellowship Events are scheduled throughout the year. These events are centered around such activities as Hayrides, Lock Outs, trips to Vertical Endeavors/Sky Zone/Bowling and overnight retreats. Friends are always welcome to any of these type events!
Service Events During the school year, parents and students work together to plan service events in our community. Service Events have included for example, Feed My Starving Children or working in the warehouse for Global Health Ministries, and Shopping for Others during the Christmas Season.
Music Ministry Faith Lutheran offers middle school students several opportunities to participate in our Music Ministry. Students may join a Handbell Choir, sing in Youth Choir, and perform vocal and instrumental solos throughout the year.

EDGE High School Youth Ministry
The High School Ministry program of Faith Lutheran Church (called “EDGE”) seeks to be a community where youth can honestly share with one another, build meaningful relationships, grow in their faith, and passionately follow Jesus Christ.
This ministry’s name is taken from Hebrews 4:12 which reads, “The word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” It is our hope that youth who choose to participate will experience how God is calling them to a life of authentic and passionate discipleship.
We also try to offer a variety of activities throughout the year such as: retreats, lock-ins, service projects, sports events, concerts, ski/snowboard lock-out, mission trips, and high adventure activities.
One of the best ways to be informed and stay updated about what is happening at EDGE, is to join our group on facebook (“Edge Highschoolministry”). If you are an adult who is interested in being a part of our Adult Ministry Team for EDGE, we have an application and interview process to explore that possibility with you. We value committed and faithful adults who are authentic, available, and affirming.
