All are invited to attend Sunday morning forums, held Sundays at 9:15 and 10:30am in the Library.

Most forums consist of a presentation and a short time for group discussion.

ABOUT NOOMA:  Jesus lived with the awareness that God is doing something, right here, right now, and anybody can be a part of it. He encouraged his listeners to search, to question, to wrestle with the implications of what he was saying and doing. He inspired, challenged, provoked, comforted and invited people to be open to God’s work in this world. Wherever he went, whatever he did, Jesus started discussions about what matters most, because for Jesus, God is always inviting us to open our eyes and join in. NOOMA is a series of short films that explore our world from a perspective of Jesus. NOOMA is an invitation to search, question and join the discussion.

New Bible Studies

Book of Acts - The Early Christian Church
A Bible Study for all Bible learners, and beginners are especially welcome
This six week study will begin in Acts, Chapter 9, and complete the book of Acts. All are welcome.

Meets 2nd Monday of each month in the conference room at Faith

• Most participants are women who are empty nesters, but all ages are welcome.

Bad Girls of the Bible
Meets 1st Sunday of each month, 6:30pm at the Caribou Coffee in Andover

• This bible study group gets its ironic name from the first book they studied together. It is a group for women in their 20’s – 40’s.
• The group typically starts a new study every 6 months. Participants with all different levels of bible learning are welcome!

Faith Date Nights - A New Ministry for Families with Kids ages 0-5
Has your social life taken a dive since kids? Do you enjoy talking with other parents going through the same things as you? Would it be nice to have a night out without having to do all the work of planning? Mark “Faith Date Nights” on your calendar now!

Faith Date Nights is a once a month ministry for families in what can be a very stressful time of life. Each gathering will have a time of connecting with each other, with scripture and with a topic pertinent to this stage of life. Dinner and childcare will be provided. Registration cost is $10/family, or $5 without the pizza supper. The schedule each night will be: 5:30 - 6:00 PM pizza supper, 6:00 - 7:30 PM planned program for parents/kids nursery activities.

2010 Faith Men’s Fall Retreat
September 17 - 19

Preparations are underway for the annual "2010 Faith Men's Fall Retreat". Sign-ups and information will be available in the Gathering Area on the Sundays of April 11, 18 and May 9, 23. This year’s retreat will be at Luther Point Bible Camp in Grantsburg, WI. It is scheduled on the weekend of September 17 - 19 for two nights lodging and four meals in a modern comfortable retreat center.

Pastor Kevin will be our study leader this year and we have the other activities planned as in the past. For example, Friday afternoon golf, cycling, hiking, fishing and whatever other activity a group would like to explore. Specific scheduling details and exact costs are forthcoming. A few things we do know are that check-in can begin at 5:00 PM Friday, September 17, and we check-out at 11:00 AM Sunday, September 19. Cost is anticipated to be about $120. The past retreats have always been renewing escapes to places of quiet natural beauty, loud laughter, good food, fun fellowship and time to reflect on and study God's Word for our lives.
